Multizone Audio, Network & Surveillance Installation

Client Objective:

Design and install a discreet yet high-performance multi-zone audio system and a reliable network and surveillance infrastructure for a hospitality venue, with a special emphasis on a DJ-capable audio zone.

Our Solution We designed and installed a complete system including:

Multizone Audio System: The system consisted in a 70V Audio System four(4) independent zones. One being specifically being for a DJ Room where the audio was required to be higher than the others zones (Omakase room, Entry and Bathrooms). The design was put together considering a 9 ft ceiling high, this one made of wood added an extra layer of difficulty since such material absorb sound waves instead of reflecting them, lowering the sound in the DJ Room by certain amount of dbs. Since the customer wanted us to design the Audio System in a way that the speakers are hidden, the speakers had to be mounted in the ceiling and then direction them to the public to mitigate the sound absorption. The end result ended up being one for the books. DJs were able to hookup their DJ Controller to the system with either XLR cables or RCA connectors. The system was configured with 0ms delays, limiters were set to avoid any over the limit sound that could damage the speakers and it was EQ’d to sound properly in the specific room, allowing the DJ to play music without compromising the sound performance.
- Equipment used: QSC Amp, QSC Mixer, Speakers Yamaha and Episode.
Network & Surveillance: Full network design and deployment, plus CCTV with remote monitoring.
- Equipment used:
  - Network: Switches, Routers, and Access Point by Ubiqui.
  - Security System: Eight (8) Hikvision ColorVu 8MP Security Cameras, One (1) Hikvision NVRs with 8TB of storage each.
